According to the Massively article, new secondary powerset of Martial Combat for Blasters comes with Issue 24, and Martial Assault for Dominators. Mixing some slow motion/speedup effects with martial arts style attacks, they are trying for an odd martial arts flavor. Combined with pistols or possibly even beam weapons, this can give the player a kind of gun-fu type flavor.

I could easily see a variation of this hitting scrappers and defenders soon -- I'd think it would make a killer staff weapon secondary.
