Disclaimer

History: This blog is the third incarnation, and started as a paper RPG & desktop gaming blog.  After starting the MMO City of Heroes days after its launch in 2004,  It developed into one dedicated to that MMO, as it remained for nearly eight years. On November 30, 2012 that MMO was shut down by the company NCSoft despite an outpouring of fan support and community outrage.  Starting In December 2012, I'm going to be opening up the focus of the blog to cover ANYTHING gaming I'm playing, be it PC, XBox 360, iPad, Dragon*Con, etc.

That being said, their will be images from various games posted on this blog.  No claim here is made to the games, and no intent to infringe on any copyrights are inferred.   Copyrights are property of the respective companies.

I'm BAAACK...

I've got to get back to posting here.   I've been on the Homecoming server.   I've trimmed down a lot of my toons from Excelsior, and a few from Everlasting, and have transferred many to Torchbearer.   I dabbled briefly on Reunion thanks to joining a streamer .

I've added about a hundred covers to the COH Cover Archive on this site.   MOST have been made in the last year.   Some of them didn't upload correctly and  I will have to review, remove, and reload those that didn't have a thumbnail generated or showed up zoomed in, obscuring part of the cover.

I'm playing most afternoons or evenings,  albeit a bit irregularly.   I have been messing with a few XBOX Pass games of late.   I've also been trying to repair my PC install of Skyrim screwed up by the December update.   I did find out that the Vortex launcer was not pointing at the reinstalled version.   And the vortex launcher doesn't appear to be getting mods into the game.   Still not sure about that.   I really want to make sure I get this cleaned up and understand the issues before the do an upgrade to Fallout 4 and totally hose it.  While I still can play Skyrim SE on the XB1, its not the same -- not all mods can be loaded there, and the space for mods is limited.

My PC has also been giving me issues.   Bought 5 years and 11 months ago it has been showing some signs of wear.   Several times it has refused to reboot and only undoing ALL USB cables will allow it to reboot.   No explanations.   Not really the best time to think about replacing it, but it may become another issue.   I have replaced the motherboard battery and still have the issue.   This PC does not have a Windows 11 processor so replacing it WILL be an issue in the next year or so regardles.s
