Cover of the Day - April 30, 2014

I have been playing Champions rather heavily over the last several days.   A Double XP weekend helps -- especially when it drives people into Alert TEAMS (gasp!).   I've made several toons during the weekend, including AIR DANGER RANGER (yes I made contact with that group again) , which was a good excuse to try a freeform SQUALL Air controller, making it to 21 -- a level or 2 below my highest.     Red Bolt became yet another freeform Electric character, a female, getting to 15.   One surprise was a dark/shadow weilding ooze travelling toon I made called Dark Tar.   The pun on Doctor is there, but the oozing makes him to be a shapeshifter.   I went with an all black toon, with lots of spikes to give him a unique sillohette. It seems to work.  He's fun to play and I was able to get him to 20.   A late addition is shown below -- trying a Freeform flying behemoth type build.   So far he's areound 13, but he came up after the weekend.   I got inspired and stumbled on an emote that allowed me to mimic a famous Superman cover.
